Had the Occupy Wall Street movement on my mind a lot today. Here’s my song about it, “Memo to the Occupied.” I played this last night at The Fire in Philadelphia too. Went well.
Our amazing friend Tear-n Tan created this video for us and an earlier version of our song Jealous Waves. We gave her some ideas and she just put it all together so wonderfully. To see more of Tear-n’s work, check out her web site here: http://www.tearntan.com
These ladies are one of my favorite Philly bands.
LAST SHOW THE TRITONE WILL EVER HOST! EVER!
Come say goodbye to the Tritone for the last time with a bang! We’re only asking for donations so, essentially this is a free show.
Three non-folk folk singer/songerwriters
I AM NOT THE UNIVERSE:
(Protest/Political-Singer/
Songwriter)
ALEC STEWART:
(Guitar maestro fresh off a masterpiece recording that defies all genres)
D-NASTY’S NASTY BOYZ:
(Singer/songwriting folk rocker who floats effortlessly between perverse jokes and soul shattering honesty)
Here's a little medley (of sorts) of Steve Earle's "F the CC" and my own "Read a Banned Book."
Only the tail end of my anti-SOPA rant got caught, but the music says it all.
